Build Your Business in Denmark
The StartUp Planet International Entrepreneurship Programme is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs with an international background who are ready to turn their business idea into reality or have recently launched their venture in Denmark.
Starting a business in a new country comes with unique opportunities and challenges. Throughout five hands-on modules, you’ll develop practical entrepreneurial skills while gaining valuable insights into the Danish business environment, including entrepreneurship, business culture, finances and the local market.
You’ll learn from experienced entrepreneurs and industry professionals, receive valuable feedback, connect with other international founders and leave with a stronger business concept, a broader professional network and a concrete action plan for your next steps.
About the Programme
The StartUp Planet International Entrepreneurship Programme is designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs with an international background build the skills, confidence and network needed to launch a successful business in Denmark.
By joining the programme, you will:
- Turn your business idea into a stronger business concept
- Learn the fundamentals of business development, pricing, marketing and sales
- Gain practical insights into the Danish business environment, including business culture, regulations and finances
- Receive feedback and guidance from experienced entrepreneurs and mentors
- Connect with other international entrepreneurs and expand your professional network
- Leave with a concrete action plan for the next stage of your entrepreneurial journey
Who is this programme for?
This programme is for aspiring entrepreneurs with an international background who are developing a business idea or have recently started their entrepreneurial journey in Denmark.
We encourage you to apply if you:
- Live in the City of Copenhagen (applicants from the surrounding area are welcome to apply, but priority is given to residents of Copenhagen)
- Have an international background and want to start or grow a business in Denmark
- Have a business idea you would like to explore or have recently launched your own business
- Want to gain a better understanding of entrepreneurship and doing business in Denmark
- Are motivated to develop your entrepreneurial skills and become part of a supportive community
You don’t need a finished business plan before you apply. The programme is designed to help you shape your idea, understand the Danish business landscape and build a solid foundation for your business.
Practical Information
The programme runs over four weeks and consists of five in-person modules in Copenhagen.
The programme concludes with a graduation event where participants celebrate their progress and present their ideas.
The detailed schedule, including dates, times and locations, will be shared with all participants before the programme begins.
